Siri and Back Tap depend on your iPhone model, iOS version, language, Shortcut settings and the commands currently included with Savant.
Use Hey Siri with the flow timer
Savant includes Siri training so you can practise supported phrases before relying on them. Typical commands include:
- “Hey Siri, start the Savant timer.”
- “Hey Siri, stop the Savant timer.”
Voice control can be useful when reaching for the phone is inconvenient or when a hands-free option improves accessibility.
Open Savant with Back Tap

- Open the Apple Shortcuts app and create or select the Savant Shortcut you want to run.
- Open Settings → Accessibility → Touch → Back Tap.
- Choose Double Tap or Triple Tap.
- Select the Savant Shortcut.
